What You'll Do: Support the upkeep of city parks, trails, and public buildings by performing landscaping, mowing, irrigation repairs, and cleaning tasks to keep Branson beautiful. Handle a variety of building and equipment repairsfrom light carpentry and painting to drywall and concrete work. Operate and maintain equipment like mowers, utility vehicles, and small engines. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The starting hourly wage is $20.06 per hour and will increase to $20.86 per hour after 6 months of successful probation. Or go to MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING One (1) year of experience in performing semi-skilled building or mechanical, construction, or grounds maintenance tasks. A Class A or B CDL license is preferred. High school graduate or GED equivalent is required. Be at least 18 years of age. A passing grade on the written portion of the Class A or B CDL exam is required before employment. Pass the driving portion of the Class A or B CDL exam with tanker endorsement within 6 months of being hired into position. Have a valid Driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position. Be willing to work snow routes that include 12-hour shifts during the months of November through March. Be able to pass a background investigation, drug and alcohol screenings, and a physical agility screening. WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Some after hours will be required.
